Jade Alexander started her career as a trauma counsellor working with sex workers who had experienced violence at work. It was during this time that she developed an interest in human rights, social justice and the biopsychosocial impacts of trauma.
With 18 years’ experience in clinical care provision Jade has worked as specialist consultant with NSW Police Detectives, the Department for Defence and numerous health and tertiary organisations championing best practice innovation in healthcare across prevention, early intervention, medical management and critical incident services.
In the last eight years Jade has successfully lead clinical, strategic and operational services across corporate and health organisations specialising in actioning complex governance, ensuring clinical legislative compliance, the provision of ethical integrated care, operational conformance and performance standards at a state and national level.
In September 2021 Jade commenced work as the Head of Clinical Care, Quality Assurance and Compliance – Corporate Services with Jewish Care, covering Aged-Care, Disability and Mental Health (FaCS) service provision.
Jade presents regularly as a subject matter expert at conferences nationally and internationally, specialising in: Complex Trauma, Biopsychosocial Case Management, Organisational Resilience, Creating Mentally Healthy Workspaces, Working with Vulnerable Populations and Vicarious Trauma Management.

Tanya Scaife has been in the Learning and Development space for over 15 years and has experience in leading organisational change management programs, developing workforce plans, talent management strategies as well as building induction programs to ensure success and leverage capability development. With her strong interpersonal skills, she has facilitated in national conferences and delivered workshops across Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines. Tanya’s approach to deploying intelligent solutions is through open collaboration and acknowledging the value in individual thoughts and ideas.
Tanya is a qualified Neuro Linguistics Practitioner and holds qualifications in project management, Everything DiSC, advanced instructional design and workplace training and assessment. When asked what attracted her to join the Jewish Care family, she explained that she believed we all have a superpower, and her goal is to use hers for good and in a way which will directly impact the community.
Her personal “why” she describes is to educate and mobilize individuals to take action in contributing and creating a positive and lasting impact to the world. She has been a recipient of leadership and values awards in her previous organisations and is an active committee member of the Animal Welfare League NSW and a volunteer for Pets in the Park supporting pets of the homeless community.

Gary started his career in the NSW Police Force. For over 24 years, Gary worked in a number of roles in NSW Government including a number of senior executive roles. For eight years he served as the Executive Director in Family and Community Services, more recently for the Stronger Communities Investment and Inclusion Directorate. He was recruited to lead the COVID-19 response on behalf of the Department of Communities and Justice. In this capacity, he established the Vulnerable Priority Cohorts Strategy Group which delivered calculated, adaptive social policy changes and highly effective operational services.
Gary has worked closely with Ministers from NSW Government and Agencies to orchestrate a suite of strategies and frameworks including the NSW Carers Strategy 2020-2030; NSW Ageing Strategy; Whole-of-Government Outcomes Framework for Vulnerable Families and an overhaul of the Child Protection System.
Gary demonstrates a strategic mindset that, in its forward-looking focus, understands the role of data in high quality decision making.
He also consistently displays a strong sense of personal integrity and exceptional stakeholder engagement skills. He joined JewishCare in 2021 as CEO.
Senior Manager, The Burger Centre
Bronwyn has worked in the Aged Care sector since 1991 in a field she is very passionate about. She has worked across local government, residential and community aged care and has worked in the Jewish Community for 20 years.
Along with her years of experience in the sector Bronwyn holds a Masters in Gerontology, Bachelor of Social Science Degree, Graduate Diploma in Not for Profit Management, Graduate Certificate in Local Government Management and is currently enrolled in a Bachelor of Dementia Care .
With her passion giving back to the community, Bronwyn volunteers her time on the Randwick Council Cultural Diversity & Equity Advisory Committee, Maccabi NSW, NSW Swimming and the Eastern Suburbs Special Olympics Swim Events.
She has held her current position as Senior Manager of the Burger Centre since 2014, a role she enjoys for its diversity, challenges and connection to all aspects of the community. The Burger Centre is a wellbeing day centre for senior citizens in the Jewish and wider community. Their programs aim to enhance the capability of older people to stay independent in their own homes and to facilitate social connection within the community in a sophisticated, culturally appropriate and meaningful way.

Dalit holds a BA in Statistics and continued studies for a Masters at the Technion Haifa in Business Management and later became a Graduate from Australian Institute of Company Directors in 2013.
She has over 20 years of experience working with multinational Blue Chip FMCG international companies, she joined JewishCare in a Business Development role in 2014 and was promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2021. Dalit is an entrepreneurial strategic leader specialising in Marketing and Business Development. She brings a commercial approach focusing on consumers and clients, to the changing world of Not for Profits.

Suzi started her career as a registered nurse and worked in UK and USA prior to moving to Australia. She worked in HIV, Hepatitis C and Sexual Health services in the government and Not for Profit Sector. Suzi joined JewishCare in 2001, initially developing the North Shore presence of JewishCare, then managing volunteer services before becoming the Manager of The Burger Centre and overseeing the transition to the Randwick site. In 2014 she was appointed as Manager of Disability Services at JewishCare.
She has qualifications in Criminology, Sexual Health counselling and a Masters in Couple and Family Therapy. She recently graduated from the 10 month Sydney Leadership Program.

Renata holds a BA in Social Work, a Masters in Art Therapy, a post graduate certificate in Trauma Focused Psychotherapy, an Advanced Diploma in Community Sector Management, a Graduate Certificate in Management of Non-for-Profit Organisations, and a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business.
She brings nearly 30 years of professional experience as a clinician, social worker, manager and supervisor in the fields of child protection, mental health, domestic and family violence, PTSD, therapeutic intervention with addicted people and therapeutic intervention with victims and perpetrators of domestic and sexual abuse. Her experience has been gained through the army, government, non-for-profit and private practice in Australia and abroad.
Joining JewishCare in 2014, she manages Family Support, Mental Health, Youth Services and Volunteer Services.

Andy graduated from the University of Otago in 1988 with BA (Economics and History) and then went on to complete a B. Commerce in Management (HR / IR) in 1989. Following University he commenced a career in international hotels and resorts holding a number of Supervisory and Management roles both here and overseas before specialising in Human Resources.
After a decade in the hospitality industry Andy then undertook several years of contracting with major companies prior to joining JewishCare in 2007.

Keith holds MA Health Administration; BA (Hons); Dip COT; Post grad Cert OHS. Joining JewishCare in 2007, Keith is the Senior Manager of the Community Aged Services.
He has broad experience as a clinician, manager and educator in occupational therapy and rehabilitation, health service management, and workplace and tertiary teaching. He has previously worked as the manager of a rehabilitation service for a private hospital; has managed OT services and has 30 years’ experience in Aged Care; General Medicine; Community Care and Rehabilitation, and Occupational Rehabilitation.

Andrew’s portfolio includes financial management, information technology, facilities and administration.
Completing a BSc Honours Degree in Economics in 1980, Andrew went on to earn a post-gradual qualification in International Trade before migrating to Australia in 1984. Here, he completed a Masters degree in Professional Accounting at UNSW in 1988.
Andrew has worked for over 30 years in senior financial management roles, mostly with not for profit organisations. His professional experience has been recognised by advancing to the status of Fellow of CPA Australia (FCPA).
Andrew commenced in this role with JewishCare in 2004, exactly 20 years to the date when he arrived to Australia, with the support of Jewish Welfare Society – as JewishCare was known then.
